By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use MyCaffeine.
Licence and ownership
Ryan Bush grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use MyCaffeine for your own lawful purposes, subject to these terms and the applicable App Store rules. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, reverse engineer or modify the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
MyCaffeine and its software, design, trademarks, catalogue and other intellectual property remain the property of Ryan Bush or the relevant licensors.
Health information and no medical advice
MyCaffeine is a personal tracking and educational tool. Caffeine levels, absorption and clearance predictions, hydration labels, daily or bedtime limits, metabolic estimates, trends and Health Analysis findings are estimates based on the information available to the app. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for your individual circumstances.
MyCaffeine is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional or as the sole basis for decisions about caffeine, hydration, sleep, medication, pregnancy or any health condition. If you have symptoms or concerns, contact a healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
Your data and Apple Health
You are responsible for the information you enter and the permissions you grant. Apple Health integration is optional, and you can change access in Apple Health or iOS Settings. Editing or deleting data in MyCaffeine may also update or remove Apple Health samples that MyCaffeine created, but data from other sources remains under the control of those sources and Apple Health.

Catalogue, reports and exports
Branded drink details, caffeine amounts, nutrition, ingredients and research sources are provided for general information. Products and recipes change and regional variations may apply, so check the product label or manufacturer when accuracy is important.
You are responsible for the content you submit through support and report forms. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or sensitive personal content. Reports may be added to a public GitHub issue tracker. Data exports are created at your request, and you are responsible for securing them and choosing where they are shared.
Pro purchases
MyCaffeine may offer paid Pro features. The App Store shows the price, billing period and applicable terms before purchase. Apple processes payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds under your Apple account and its terms. RevenueCat is used to verify your entitlement.
Available features and prices may change, but changes will not alter an already completed purchase except as allowed by the App Store terms and applicable law.
Advertising and third-party services
The free version may contain advertising. MyCaffeine also relies on services supplied by Apple, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, RevenueCat and GitHub. Those services may have separate terms and privacy policies. Ryan Bush is not responsible for third-party services, content or availability beyond what applicable law requires.
Device, connectivity and acceptable use
Some features require a compatible iPhone, Apple Watch, supported operating-system version, internet connection or third-party service. You are responsible for your devices, account security, mobile-data charges and keeping the app updated.
Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access or use automated methods to abuse its online services.
Availability, changes and termination
MyCaffeine may be updated, changed, suspended or discontinued. Features may differ by device, region, language, permissions and Pro status. Continued compatibility with every operating-system or device version cannot be guaranteed. Your right to use the app ends if you materially breach these terms or if the service is discontinued. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Disclaimers and liability
MyCaffeine is provided on an “as available” basis. Reasonable care is taken to keep it useful and accurate, but uninterrupted operation, error-free calculations and complete catalogue or Health data cannot be guaranteed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ryan Bush is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as MyCaffeine changes. The current version will be published on this page with a revised date. If a change is material, reasonable notice will be provided where required by law. These terms first took effect on 1 May 2022.
